We find the copper (or onion peel) color in the most ripened products or from grapes that have a particular coloring material, such as Pinot Grigio.

Depending on the duration of the maceration, i.e. how long the must is in contact with the marc, the color may be not very intense (6-12 hours), intense (12-24 hours) or very intense (24-48 hours).
