In 2017, Veneto is the first region that - in percentage - produces the largest quantity of white wines in Italy, surpassing the near Friuli-Venezia Giulia by a whisker. Almost four bottles out of five are then filled with Soave and Soave Superiore, Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco, Bianco di Custoza, Gambellara, Colli Euganei, Recioto di Soave, etc.

The other regions that boast an important production of white wines are the aforementioned Friuli-Venezia Giulia (77%), Lazio (73%), Trentino-South Tyrol (68%) and Liguria (67%).

Happy wine!
