La Casetta is a vine with a very long past. In recent decades it has been rediscovered and today it is cultivated in small plots of Vallagarina, in Trentino-Alto Adige and Veneto. It is good both for the production in purity and to the cutting of other wines, generally destined to aging.
Tasting
Intense ruby red. In young wines there are fruity notes of plum and morello cherry which, with aging, give way to hints of cinnamon and tobacco. In young wines a certain acidity prevails, which fades with time. Because of this intrinsic characteristic, Casetta is more suitable for aging, when pleasant surprises emerge.
