Classification
A large part of Veneto vineyards are located in the province of Treviso (42% of the total vineyard area), mostly to the west of the Piave river. Here are produced important wines such as:
- Asolo Prosecco DOCG;
- Colli di Conegliano DOCG;
- Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOCG;
- Lison DOCG;
- Montello Rosso DOCG;
- Piave Malanotte DOCG.
In second place in the vineyard area ranking there is the province of Verona (32% of the total vineyard area), which includes the important areas as Valpolicella to the west, the Garda area to the east. Here are produced wines such as:

- Bardolino Superiore DOCG
- Bianco di Custoza DOCG
- Recioto della Valpolicella DOCG
- Recioto di Soave DOCG
- Soave superiore DOCG
- Valpolicella DOC
